REGISTRATION FEES INCLUDE:

The cost of the Gala Dinner (50 Euro) can be paid on site, too.

For payment via bank transfer, please include participant’s name, country and code ‘CONGRESS’ as payment reference for identification purposes.
Please note that bank charges must be covered by the payer and not deducted from the payment amount.
Registration fees are to be paid in Euro.
An electronic invoice will be emailed to the congress participants upon receipt of registration fees. Please make sure you have provided the correct information (name, address).

In accordance with the decision of the European Anthropological Association, which denounces Russian aggression against Ukraine and suspends members from Russia and Belarus from all activities of the Association, the Organizing Committee cannot accept registrations from Russia or Belarus.

Purpose
The registration fee grant aims to provide financial assistance to individuals who demonstrate a strong interest in participating in the conference but may face financial constraints.

Eligibility
The registration fee grant is dedicated to undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students currently enrolled in a degree program related to biological anthropology or a related field. Proof of student status, such as a student ID or enrolment certificate, should be provided along with a supportive letter from the student’s supervisor.
Applicants must be members of the European Association of Anthropologists (EAA) for at least one year prior to the conference. Proof of membership may be required during the application process.
Applicants may be required to provide a brief statement explaining their financial need for the registration fee grant. This should include details of their financial situation, justification for the request, and any additional circumstances that contribute to their need for financial support.

Accepted presentation
Applicants must have an oral or poster presentation accepted for the conference. The presentation should be given in person at the conference venue. Proof of acceptance, such as the acceptance notification or confirmation, may be required during the application process.

Registration fee grant application
Applicants must complete and submit the registration fee grant APPLICATION FORM by the specified deadline. The application form should include relevant personal details, proof of EAA membership, details of the accepted presentation, and a statement of commitment to attend the conference.
The registration fee grant is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or used for any other purpose.

Selection process
The selection of registration fee grant recipients will be based on a thorough review of the applications. The evaluation may consider factors such as the quality and relevance of the presentation, financial need, and overall contribution to the conference’s objectives.

Grant notification
Applicants will be notified of the registration fee grant decisions within a specified timeframe. Successful applicants will be exempted from paying the registration fee.
